"Call them to get a quote on insurance I spoke with Meghan. She was trying to get me full coverage but it wouldn’t allow me to do so due to something on my MVR report so she said that she will call me back in 30 minutes ended up being two days later, and I called her back and ask her why she lied to my face stating that she was gonna call me back. She stated that calling into corporate was a 24 to 48 hour hold which was a lie because I spoke with corporate and they said nothing about what she had stated."

"Ten months ago, this was a five-star review, now updated. I spent a year as a customer—carrying a home policy, three autos, and three personal item policies—paying nearly $6,000 annually.
In that entire year and five office visits, Patricia never once introduced herself or acknowledged me as a customer. The first time she engaged at all was when State Farm refused to renew my coverage after a single small homeowner’s claim—the only claim I’ve made in nearly twenty years of homeownership
Her staff never explained that filing a claim within the first 12 months put me at risk of being dropped. They even counted a zero-dollar claim against me when I asked for inspection from wind damage. When it came time to renew, the office refused to continue coverage, not even with a higher premium or deductible.
I expect their response will be that it’s “State Farm’s policy.” That doesn’t change the fact that her office failed to warn me of the risk when I left a competitor after 17 years of continuous coverage. Nor does it excuse the poor customer service of an agent who never once acknowledged my business beyond cashing my checks.
I’ve pulled all of my accounts with Patricia and State Farm and will be moving on to a company that values its customers. I suggest others do the same."
"Hi Wil, I am so sorry that you felt uninformed regarding all the ways that filing a claim could affect your insurance. My team and I pride ourselves on educating our customers on insurance and financial preparedness. Our office does not have control over the company decisions nor are we the ones that "count" claims against you. An insurance company has the right to deny risk in North Carolina when there are multiple claims on record within a certain period of time. We notified you of the company decision to nonrenew your policy well in advance of the action, and I offered to assist you in finding another option. It is not our practice to advise customers against filing claims when that is what insurance is for, we also do not know in advance what the companys action will be, if any, after filing a claim. There are hundreds of underwriting factors that go into insurance algorithms, so our office has no way of knowing that your policy would have been non renewed. Regarding having never met me, I unfortunately cannot meet with every new customer which is why I work with a team of licensed professionals. My office does offer an insurance review to all of our customers prior to each policy renewal and if I am unavailable on the day and time that you requested, then customers often meet with one of our other licensed agents in the office. I appreciate your feedback and will make sure that my team offers customers the opportunity to meet with me directly after every claim. "

"Excellent service. I received text reminders before my bill is due or for any upcoming appointments for annual review (optional). I absolutely love having state farm in my corner for both my vehicles makes me feel safe. They will work woth you when it comes to bundle packages and have saved me a lot of money after switching from progressive!!
